I have been using F/OSS since 2000, when I returned from an LDS mission. My brother, Hans, introduced me to Linux at that time. I'm a pragmatist -- I use Windows and other commercial software when necessary -- but I do prefer F/OSS when available and appropriate.

I've worked professionally as a computer programmer for eight years, with a two year haitus from 1998-2000. I currently do internal systems development at Prosper, Inc. in Provo. I am most familiar with web applications programming. I have extensive experience with web services technology.

I specialize in developing complete, visual solutions for the modern market by combining concept, strategy, creative structure and the ability to effectively deliver balanced technology and aesthetic. I am a Utah native and current reside in Lehi with my wife and daughter. An avid outdoorsman, artist, and musician, I am always challenging myself with adventures and projects. I am currently directing the creative team at Doba, developing campaigns, collatoral, and web application interfaces for a service that is revolutionizing the product sourcing industry.
