Aircard 750 & Linux

Hey

I was so excited when I got my aircard 750 working under linux. I even 
put together a page complete with pitfalls in case anyone else wants to 
try it:

One downside to using the aircard is it requires a pcmcia slot. That 
will make selecting a pda tougher. I think I should have gotten a 
bluetooth phone so the pda solution would be simpler... or I need to 
abandon the pda idea and get a nice subnotebook (sigh). I think the info 
I figured out would be useful for a bluetooth setup too btw.

I set up my wifi card as a base station and had a coworker sharing my 
internet via wifi as we rode trax. Pretty cool. I didn't notice anyone 
warchalking me. :)
